    Directions

Tour the University with the UF Campus Interactive Map. The Entomology and Nematology Department is identified as "EYN" on the map.

We are located in Steinmetz Hall, on the southwest edge of the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, just north of Archer Road and east of SW 34th Street.

If you do not have a UF parking pass, and to avoid being ticketed, paid parking is available in the lot near the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Harn Museum of Art, a three-minute walk. There is parking at the department for orange and green parking pass holders and for scooters and motorcycles. Blue pass holders can park in the nearby parking garage.

If arriving by I-75, take exit 384 and turn east toward Gainesville. Follow this road (Archer Road) to the stop lights at SW 34th Street. Turn left and follow SW 34th Street to Hull Road. Turn right. Turn right off of Hull Road onto Bledsoe Drive and follow this as it curves east  in front of the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. You will be behind the parking garage. When you come to a stop sign you will be in front of Steinmetz Hall. Due to the construction of the UF Baseball complex, Natural Area Drive no longer continues back out onto Hull Road.

On the Gainesville RTS bus system, several buses stop at the corner of Natural Area Drive and Archer Road (routes 1 and 12). From campus, buses that pass the Cultural Plaza and the Southwest Recreation Center have stops that are a three- to five-minute walk from the building.
