Our program costs are very reasonable, especially for non-Florida residents and international students who will pay the same tuition rate as Florida resident students.
Note that tuition charges are likely to increase each fall semester, and we will update the above numbers as soon as we are informed of the mandated increase.
Unfortunately, there are no scholarships available from the Department or the University to cover costs associated with our online programs, but domestic students may apply for financial aid, State of Florida employees may use Employee Education Plan benefits, and many other government and private employers who realize the value of the educational opportunities we provide will reimburse students for some or all of their tuition costs.
Students registered in the online learning course sections will pay through UF Financial Services. Students should check the semester payment deadlines on the Registrar's website, immediately after being registered. The University of Florida payment deadline is always the second Friday of each semester, before 3:30 pm (not 5:00 pm) EST.
Purchase of books and course materials is the responsibility of the student. Information about the requirements and recommendations of these materials can be obtained from the instructor and/or course syllabi (University of Florida Entomology and Nematology Distance Course Syllabi).
