Getting Started
- Create a username and password you will remember so you can log back in before submission.
Personal Information
- Provide all requested personal details.
- International applicants:
- Enter your surname and given name in the Passport Name section, even if you don’t have a passport. If you are a U.S. permanent resident, you must list your resident alien number and upload a copy of your permanent resident card.
Conduct Disclosure
- Answer all questions truthfully in the Conduct Disclosure section.
Application Information
- Select “undergraduate” for the level of your intended certificate program
Certificate Program
- Type in the name of the certificate (ex. Beekeeping)
- Choose the correct term you are applying for. Applicants seeking summer admission must select Summer A/C.
Academic Background
- List your High School Educational Background and upload unofficial transcripts, if available. Applications will not be reviewed without an unofficial or official transcript on file.
- Fill in college background if applicable (not required)
Activities
- Report any past or planned activities, including relevant work experience.
Residency Information
- All applicants must complete this section. Residency status does not affect tuition cost for this program but is required by UF.
- Florida residents must provide two of the following documents (with numbers and original issue dates): Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration, Voter Registration.
Application Fee
- Pay the nonrefundable $30 application fee to submit your application.
How to Submit Transcripts
To be admitted into an undergraduate certificate program, students must submit official transcripts from a high school or GED granting institution.

If electronic submission is not available, transcripts must be sent by mail.

- Students using the State of Florida Employee Education Program (EEP) should email Ally Fleischer after creating their application. Once admitted, EEP students will register through Ms. Fleischer.

Current UF Students: Add A Certificate to Your Degree
Current UF students can add an Entomology & Nematology undergraduate certificate to their degree by completing the free certificate application.
When completing your application:

Enter your personal information and your current UF degree program information, including your current college.
Start Term
Select the year and term you plan to begin the certificate. Summer B applications cannot be accepted. If applying for Summer, select Summer A/C.

Select the certificate you wish to pursue:

- Pest Control Technology: AGL_UCT09

Admissions Timeline
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Processing time varies depending on the number of applications received.
- Applications for future semesters are typically not reviewed until the semester immediately prior (e.g., Fall applications are usually reviewed starting in May/June).
- Applications must be submitted one month prior to the posted start date of classes.
