Our History

What is now the UF Entomology Club began in 2002 as the five member "Insect Collecting Society," led by inaugural President Lindsay Griffin. In 2005 we became "The Entomology Club" and registered three years later as an official Student Government organization.

Today there are more than 100 entomology club members who come from a variety of majors campus wide. Majors in our department consistently make the Dean's List and are rewarded for their academic achievements.
