Trevor Green

Trevor graduated with a B.S. in Horticulture Science from the University of Florida in Spring of 2022. Within his time at UF, he took a variety of plant science classes as well as entomology related classes to better understand the world of horticulture/agriculture. While attending classes, Trevor also worked for UF as an OPS lab technician for the agronomy department in Dr. Luke Flory plant invasion lab. This is where he gained lab experience and skills from working on the Hemp-Pilot Project and on an Invasive Japanese silt grass project as well. Later, in his undergraduate career is when Trevor first started to work for Dr. Liburd and his lab. Now, since he has graduated, he has been moved to a full-time OPS lab technician position for the lab where he helps with a variety of tasks in the lab and in the field. Trevor hopes to keep taking on skills in the lab and outside to improve for future endeavors in the related field of agriculture. When it comes to things outside of work, Trevor likes outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, and going to the beach. Also, music is another thing that Trevor really enjoys like collecting vinyl records.
