Waveform of 0.6 s of calling (from recording by G. K. Morris). The sond alternates
between a sonic mode (extreme left and center right) and an ultrasonic mode (extreme
right and center left). Peak frequency of sonic mode is ca. 16 kHz; of ultrasonic mode, ca. 32 kHz.
Click on first half of waveform to hear graphed song. The sound you will hear
lasts 4.8 s, because it is the graphed sound slowed to one-eighth speed, which
lowers the peak frequencies to 2 kHz and 4 kHz.
Click on second half of waveform to expand first transition from ultrasonic to sonic mode.
