The New York records are from emails from Brandon Woo in which he reported finding a healthy colony of O. nigripes in Chautauqua County in September 2016 and a single male of O. nigripes on the Cornell campus (Tompkins County) in September 2017. The colony record is near Lake Erie and is not far from similar records in Ohio. The Cornell record is nearly as close to records in New England as it is to the colony record in New York. As explained in Remarks there were no records of this species in Atlantic states until 60-85 years ago.

The Adams County, Pennsylvania, record is by Leo Shapiro 16 Aug 2020.
