Current Responsibilities

• 12 month, tenure-track. Responsibilities include maintaining close contact with over 50 mosquito control districts in the state of Florida to address their research and training needs; providing extension education to the mosquito control districts in Florida; maintaining contact with the county and state cooperative extension faculty and the public at large by developing and participating in short courses on topics related to medical entomology; assisting mosquito control districts through the application of new and innovative technical procedures. Research includes population genetics of mosquitoes, epidemiology of mosquito-borne diseases, and arthropod pest control methodology.
