Species name: In biology the name of a species consists of two words in Latin or Greek. The first of these words always has a capital initial letter, and the second word always has a small initial letter. examples are Haliaeetus leucocephalus (the bald eagle) and Neoscapteriscus vicinus (Scudder) (the tawny mole cricket).
