Accomplishments
- Advanced the understanding of the interaction between nutrition
and behavior of xylophagous leafhoppers towards HPR for phony
peach/plum leafscald/Pierce's disease.
- Advanced the IPM programs of pecan, ornamentals and landscapes
away from general pesticide use towards implementation of biological
controls and biorationals.
- Developed a new monitoring method for plum curculio and several
species of stink bugs, root weevils and wood borers of international
significance.
