I am a master's degree student at the Honey Bee Research and Extension Lab from Guatemala. I came to the University of Florida through the Fulbright LASPAU program. In the past I have worked in migratory bird ecology and medical entomology. My main interests are evolution, behavior, the social insects, ecology and relationships between humans and the environment. My research focuses on crop pollination by native bees and honey bees. I hope that my research will produce results that will help farmers increase productivity and create conservation incentives for wild bees.
