Catherine joined the lab as a full-time Extension Technician in August, 2009 after graduating with a M.S. degree from the Entomology and Nematology department at the University of Florida. Her M.S. research focused on the effects of parasites and pathogens on the oviposition behavior of three medically important mosquitoes. And yes, those are bedbugs she is feeding on her arm...
