Eriophyid mites - This group of mites are extremely small, less than 1/100 inch long. They are initially recognized by the damage symptoms present on the host plant. A trained individual with proper magnification equipment is required for correct identification.
Common host plants: Black olive, boxwood, camellia, citrus, juniper, maple and podocarpus.
