These CEU tutorials may be used by an unlimited number of licensed pesticide applicators. Plus, licensed pesticide applicators can reuse these Tutorials to earn CEUs in following years.

The current state numbers are good for 2011. Licensed applicators who used these tutorials before January 1, 2011 to earn CEUs, may use them again during 2011.

Also authorized for Florida's Technician Training requirements in IPM and Pesticide Safety.

The UF/IFAS Department of Entomology and Nematology, works with the Florida Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control and Bureau of Compliance Monitoring to ensure these programs are authorized for the CEUs indicated. Visit the Division of Agricultural Environmental Services Web site for Florida regulations and news regarding pesticide application.

To submit tutorials for CEUs, fill out and include the "Short Form" available on this page. This "Short Form" provides information the UF/IFAS CEU Verification Office uses to generate a State of Florida "Record of Information required for Attendance Form." We will then return an original and copy to the licensed applicator. To print the "Short Form" requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. This reader is available for free downloading from Adobe by clicking on the Get Acrobat Reader graphic at the botton of this page.

To apply for CEUs, the user must pass the test (90% score required for Bug and Label tutorials, 80% required for Core2 and Core6 Tutorials) and:

print one copy of the tutorial results, or the diploma from Core2 or Core6,
print and fill out one copy of the "Short Form" mentioned above,
and send these along with a $10 fee (payable to the University of Florida) for each tutorial (not each CEU) submitted to the
Entomology and Nematology Department

This address, as well as tutorial use and CEU requirements, is also listed under the Intro Text buttons of Questions 1 and 50 of each Bug and Label tutorial and in the documentation of Core2 and Core6.
The CEU Verification Office will complete the State of Florida "Information required for Attendance form" and mail the "name-stamped" verified form to the licensed applicator. It is then the applicator's responsibility to forward the form to the appropriate state bureau when renewing the license. However, the CEU Office also enters the CEU information into the online database of the two state licensing bureaus.
