Profile:

Was born in the seaside town of St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica spending most of my life in the central region of the island. I earned my BSc in Experimental Biology from the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona and taught high school Biology for 3 years. At UWI, I conducted undergraduate research in the potential use of biorationals as reduced risk pesticides in vegetable production. I am now a Masters student in the Liburd lab, and also dualling as a doctoral student in the Doctor of Plant Medicine Program.
